Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit

I’d like to spotlight two art installations touring the United States. I had the chance to review Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit as well as Immersive Frida Kahlo: Her Life. Her Love. Her Art.

I attended a press preview in 2021 for the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Los Angeles. The collaborative effort was presented by Lighthouse Immersive, Impact Museums and Massimiliano Siccardi, along with his creative team.

The experience is broken down into animated segments and runs roughly forty minutes. Each vignette is accompanied with a curated soundtrack. The music has a large role in this production. Immersive Frida

An additional immersive installation that I had the chance to review featured the Mexican born artist Frida Kahlo. Lighthouse Immersive, Impact Museums, along with mastermind Massimiliano Siccardi, the same team who put together the above mentioned Immersive Van Gogh created Immersive Frida Kahlo: Her Life. Her Love. Her Art.

In addition to being a talented artist herself, Kahlo was a woman of the world…a revolutionary. She was also an activist, and expressed her opinion on politics freely, unlike the women of her time.

The installation was fantastic. Film producer Massimiliano Siccardi, art director Vittorio Guidotti along with Luca Longobardi created a stirring visual experience portraying the life of this talented artist. Longobardi’s musical score is also a haunting companion to this immersive show.

If you appreciate and admire the artwork of Frida Kahlo, this is a must-see exhibition. This 360-degree immersive art experience uses state-of-the-art technology and also offers a one-of-a-kind look at the artworks of this icon.
