If you are a fan of the Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso, you will want to head to Richmond, London in England where much of it was filmed. Although some consider Richmond a suburb, however it is technically a part of London.

You may remember scenes from the sports comedy-drama shot outside the bar called the Crown & Anchor. In addition, multiple scenes portrayed the character Ted Lasso attempting to connect with his son back in the states via the famed British phone box. Although no interior scenes were filmed inside the bar, all of the outdoor scenes were shot in front of the now famous bar. The real name of that bar is called Prince’s Head Pub, and it’s located in Richmond London.

On a trip to London with my sister, we attended a show at the Richmond Theatre, just down the road from the Prince’s Head Pub. The bar has been around for three hundred years, and is known for great tasting pub grub. We popped in for dinner, just before the show. My sister enjoyed a vegetarian option – Autumn squash & sage ravioli, which was wonderful. While I just could not resist the fish and chips. Come on, I’m in a pub! This was fabulous. First off, Richmond is so beautiful, there are parks everywhere and it runs along the River Thames. It is so picturesque. If you have time, be sure to pop in. However, if you are a fan of Ted Lasso, you simply MUST visit.
