NYC: The Plaza Hotel, Afternoon Tea
If you love high tea, as I do and you happen to be in NYC. Afternoon Tea at the Plaza Hotel is a fun thing to do. The Palm Court is situated in the center of this iconic hotel. It is so elegant, as is the tea service. I find it so romantic. Of course this would depend on your mate. You may want to leave your husbands at home ladies…some men just don’t “get” afternoon tea. I am a lucky woman…my husband loves it.

The Palm Court has been serving tea for over one hundred years…and was recently re-designed by famed architect Thierry Despont. The new dining area is beautiful. Despont stayed true to the original old world style…he also added a bar.
