a great Paso Robles hotel

If you are looking for a great Paso Robles hotel, I’d like to recommend La Bellasera Hotel & Suites. It’s fantastic. Located ten minutes from town (wine tasting rooms, shopping, restaurants), it’s also in close proximity to many of the larger wineries. One can take advantage of the spa services in addition to dining at the five-star restaurant Enoteca – CLICK HERE to read my review.

Hotel Amenities

Our room was expansive. It featured a private sitting area with a couch, TV and chairs, a stocked bar (for purchase), a sink, as well as a coffeemaker and coffee. The room also came with a completely separate sleeping area (with a large bathroom featuring another TV, a refrigerator, along with many additional amenities. The balcony made for a perfect place to indulge in a delicious room service breakfast. I was surprised, but pleased by the quality of the bed and pillows. I am very particular about my pillows and these were the best – soft, yet held their shape. The various layers of blankets, quilt and bedspread created a luxurious and restful sleep.

Both rooms featured tvs. Thus, I was able not to disturb my husband as he went off to sleep. He is often up before me, so I tend to stay up a bit and flip through the channels. It was convenient to have an additional room (the sitting room) with a tv. The pool and Jacuzzi are an added benefit along with the spa services.

Location, Location, Location

The hotel is situated in the midway point between Los Angeles and San Francisco. One can visit the Hearst Castle and/or Lake Nacimiento. However, don’t forget about the wine tasting…after all this is wine country. La Bellasera provides different packages such as a wine tour via private car, or a bike tour and wine tasting option or a spa and golf getaway. It even offers a Heart Castle Tour package.
