Free Summer Concerts in Los Angeles
If you are visiting Los Angeles during the summer, take advantage of LA FREE Summer Concerts. Each year venues such as LACMA, California Plaza in DTLA, MacArthur Park Los Angeles, Skirball Cultural Center, and Marina Del Rey’s Burton Chace Park and many more will host FREE concerts for all to enjoy.

The Farmer’s Market Free Music Concerts
Summer Music series at the Original Farmer Market begins June and runs through August each year. These LA FREE Music Concerts take place every Thursday evening from 6-8pm. While you are there, enjoy a great mix of musical genres while you shop, dine and relax at The Original Farmers Market. Location: Farmers Market Plaza near the Clock Tower. The Farmer’s Market is also a great place to visit – you can shop for produce, all types of food, clothing or home goods. In addition, it is home to fantastic restaurants. Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)
Each year LACMA presents its Jazz concert series as well as classical and chamber music too. Generally the concerts run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. However, some of the concerts may extend beyond that, so be sure to check the website. Most concerts begin at 6pm, such as Jazz on Fridays, and classical on Sundays. However, Latin begins at 5pm on Saturdays. – Celebrate L.A.’s finest musicians at these FREE Music Concerts.

Grand Performances
Grand Performances also offers the best LA FREE Music Concerts at California Plaza in DTLA (see first photo). With music from across Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Asia. It also collaborates with KCRW by presenting concerts by dublab, and its annual collaboration with KCRW Summer Night as well.

West Hollywood’s Summer Sounds Free Music Concerts
The City of West Hollywood brings its Summer Sounds Free Outdoor Concert Series to Plummer Park. Skirball’s Sunset Concerts
The Lineup for Skirball’s Sunset Concerts features diverse artists from around the globe, and across the country, as well as LA locals. Each embraces popular music genres that build upon the styles of traditional world music—and each is sure to inspire audiences to get on their feet to sing and dance along.

Thursdays at 8:00 pm. Runs mid July to late August; No reservations; The event offers free admission as well, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Culver City Summer Sunset concert Series
Culver City also has a fun free concert series as well. The bands perform in Town Plaza at The Culver Steps. The Getty’s Off the 405 Music Series
The Getty offers a stunning backdrop for its Off the 405 Music Series. Enjoy a dj prior to the main performance. Carpool to share parking cost which can be steep.
