The Stove

Grabbing breakfast at the Stove is a tradition if you are a frequent visitor to Mammoth. My husband Rich grew up snowboarding in Mammoth, and he speaks fondly of the Stove. His loves the burgers, and the tacos. Be aware the restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch (7am – 2pm) offering traditional menu items and specialty dishes.

Noodle-Ly

If you love Thai food, Noodle-Ly is a popular eatery in the Mammoth Lakes area. It has a strong local following, so you may have to wait for tables. Alas, they also do a strong takeout business.

The restaurant serves eight noodle based items. Khao Soi is a popular menu item (rice noodles, chicken Broth, minced port, garlic sauce). Another favorite is the Pho with Braised Beef (rice noodles, beef broth, braised brisket). The restaurant is known for its homemade broth. Noodle-Ly actually closes down on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to make the broth. However, if you prefer ‘noodles only’ go for the Noods (just noodle) with BBQ pork and soy ginger chili sauce. All of the dishes come with rice noodles, but you can swap out egg or spinach noodles for an additional charge. Plus, there are options for vegetarians as well. In addition, Thai coffee and tea, as well as beer, wine and soju are all available for sale. Noodle-Ly, 437 Old Mammoth Road, Suite 146, Mammoth Lakes, California 93546; https://www.noodle-ly.com

Yodler Restaurant & Bar

A historic Swiss chalet, Yodler Restaurant & Bar is perfect for families. It opened in Mammoth over fifty years ago. To this day, it is still bringing in the customers due to its great food, friendly service and views. The menu features German inspired cuisine such as brats, giant pretzels and schnitzel.
