Craft Los Angeles

“My go-to dish is the Salmon Salad. It’s healthy yet decadent,” explains Beatrice. Other popular items on the menu include Wagyu Sirloin, Diver Scallops, as well as Short Rib. 

After six successful years in New York, chef Tom Colicchio brought Craft’s pioneering approach to the West Coast. It’s inside dining room is modern, and has an open-air feel due to its size 10,000 square foot space. Additionally, the outside patio offers a beautiful view. Eataly Los Angeles

At the Westfield Century City…you will find that Eataly Los Angeles has it all. You can dine here or shop for Italian delicacies to take home to cook with and create your own dining masterpiece. I love to cook, and often indulge myself by wandering the aisles. I consistently find new tasty treasures to incorporate into my own home-cooked meals. 

The trendy marketplace is home to several eateries, cafes and even a cooking school. I have enjoyed pizza and more here, and can attest, the food is excellent. 

Here is some info about this combo store/eatery. In November 2002, the Eataly concept was born from Oscar Farinetti’s idea sketched on a piece of paper. The idea was simple: to gather under one roof high-quality food at sustainable and reasonable prices for ALL, celebrate Italian biodiversity, and also create an informal, natural, and simple place to eat, shop, and learn. The first Eataly opened its doors in Torino on January 27, 2007. Also at the Westfield Century City, Javier’s serves up some zesty Mexican food – I am told. One of our writers Jimmy Cruz, knows quite a bit about Mexican food, and recommend’s this restaurant, not only for its food but also its ambiance. It’s staff comes to the restaurant from various regions of Mexico – they have brought their family’s favorite dishes. Jimmy’s top menu picks are Costilla de Res (osso bucco short ribs, potatoes, tomato and serrano sauce) as well as Carnitas (estilo michoacán, refritos, guacamole, salsa quemada) from the main menu with a special fave of Cabo Azul (Maine lobster enchilada, poblano chile stuffed with shrimp and dungeness crab, Ensenada style shrimp taco).
