Review: Ingridients Restaurant, Buddy Dive Resort, Bonaire
When visiting Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean, if you’d like to impress your taste buds as well as enjoy a beautiful view, visit Ingridients (yes, that is the correct spelling) at the Buddy Dive Resort. This is a fantastic restaurant. CLICK HERE to read my article about my trip to Bonaire.
Ingridients is an upscale restaurant located at the Buddy Dive Resort. Situated above the dock, it offered panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. The menu features a wonderful array of dishes, rooted in Mediterranean style cooking.
Be sure to try the Parmesan Truffle Pasta (Tagliatella, truffle and Italian Brandy). It was a great choice since it was so delicious and created with such finesse. The pasta was prepared at our table in a giant wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese with truffles and flaming brandy.
Another fantastic appetizer was the Lobster and Scallop (salad). This was a delicate union of seafood and greens brought together by a sublime cadushy liquor and lime dressing served with a traditional Dutch kletskop.
Our entrees Gamba’s al ajillo and the Blue Marlin continued to impress us. Gamba’s al ajillo featured giant garlic flavored prawns with full head on. Served with aioli, shrimp infused ketch-up and premsela. Blue Marlin (locally caught), seared and served with a traditional antiboise.
