Retail Therapy in Vail Colorado

The popular town of Vail Colorado is an active winter hub due to its renowned slopes. However, summer is a great time to embrace the retail therapy in Vail Village. There are several other villages close by, including Lionshead and Golden Peak, as well as smaller ones. I visited the first two – these are the most popular.

Retail Therapy in Vail Village

A charming little town, Vail Village is home to restaurants, lodging, and adorable retail boutiques. I visited during the summer, and I especially loved the vibrant flowers hanging in pots and growing in large planters throughout the town. Let’s face it, shopping is always fun, so you pick the season. Here are a few of my favorite shops.

Nina McLemore

As I walked down the charming cobble stoned streets, I spotted a boutique with brightly colored fashions. I walked in, and there was the owner Nina McLemore. A striking older woman, she was warm and friendly.

Fashion is wearable art to me, and I love meeting the artisans who create these original designs. The fashion bug bit McLemore at an early age. She grew up sewing her own clothing with her mom. Then she went on to build an impressive career in fashion. Nina McLemore, Inc. specializes in designer women’s apparel tailored for executive and community professionals. The collection emphasizes style, vibrant colors, high-quality European fabrics, and New York City-based manufacturing.

With a retail boutique in Maryland, her brand is popular among strong female political titans in Washington. According to a Vogue Business article in 2019, McLemore has dressed Hilary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, and Janet Yellen, the former chair of the US Federal Reserve, etc. Find out more on the website – https://www.ninamclemore.com
