Iceland: View the Northern Lights

Over 24 million years, volcanic eruptions on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge formed the Nordic island nation of Iceland. Through the years, geysers, hot springs, and lava fields shaped the land. Its enormous glaciers are protected in Vatnajökull and Snæfellsjökull national parks. More than 10% of Iceland is covered by glaciers. In addition the sky lights up with a spectacular light show. Needless to say this why tourists come from all over the world to see the Northern Lights in Iceland.

Northern Lights Iceland
