If you love art deco….the Cormorant is the hotel for you. In addition to being a hip artsy boutique hotel, it also offers sweeping views of the water. The origins of the establishment began in 1940, when it was Prospect Market. Then in the 1960s the Cormorant added rooms for rent in the 1960s and changed its name to the La Jolla Inn. The 26-room boutique hotel had an extensive renovation, and then opened to the public in September 2021. Offering art deco-inspired rooms, the boutique hotel also features a rooftop dining spot called Birdseye.

Finally, one more classic… The Grand Colonial Hotel has a long history. Founded in 1913, it has had several owners, and countless renovations throughout its legacy. The European-style hotel has maintained its grandeur and preserved its heritage for over a century.
