Treehouse Hotel

If you would like to be closer to nature, stay in a treehouse hotel. You can actually rent a custom built home in a tree, designed by Dustin Feider. His Pine Cone Treehouse is currently on Airbnb. See below for link. Feider is a talented designer/builder, who not only creates one-of-a-kind treehouses for celebrities such as Robby Krieger of the Doors, but also rents them out.

Treehouse Hotel

In 2005, Feider founded Treehouse with the intention of inspiring people. He also wanted the public to reconsider how we can more harmlessly co-exist with nature. While completing his BFA in furniture design (Minneapolis College of Art and Design), Feider created his first geodesic structure. It was located in a Poplar tree, 50 feet up in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.

Feider has created over forty artistic treehouses. As an artist and designer, he has received national and international recognition in the design community. In addition, he has appeared in over 50 design publications and television shows around the world. His coverage includes well known magazines such as Popular Mechanics, Dwell, and Wired Magazine.
