Century City (LA) has many exquisite restaurants to satiate your appetite. Here are just a few ETG staff picks. If you are looking for restaurant reviews – Head to the Stories section of ETG, Dining Drinking Page; Reviews drop-down – or CLICK HERE for direct link.

A favorite restaurant of ETG writer Beatrice Anderson, Craft Los Angeles has a focus on seasonal dining. CLICK HERE to read an article by Beatrice – ‘Romance & Adventure in Napa.’ You can find  in the Stories Section; We Love LA Page; Weekend Getaways drop-down.

“My go-to dish is the Salmon Salad. It’s healthy yet decadent,” explains Beatrice. Other popular items on the menu include Wagyu Sirloin, Diver Scallops, and Short Rib.

After six successful years in New York, chef Tom Colicchio brought Craft’s pioneering approach to the West Coast. It’s inside dining room is modern (see cover photo), and has an open-air feel due to its size 10,000 square foot space, while the outside patio offers a beautiful view. The restaurant was designed by award-winning architecture firm, Bentel & Bentel. Craft Los Angeles, 10100 Constellation Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90067; https://www.craftlosangeles.com/

At the Westfield Century City…you will find that Eataly Los Angeles has it all. You can dine here or shop for Italian delicacies to take home to cook with and create your own dining masterpiece. I love to cook, and often indulge myself by wandering the aisles and finding new tasty treasure to incorporate into my own home-cooked meals.

The trendy marketplace is home to several eateries, cafes and even a cooking school. I have enjoyed pizza and more here, and can attest, the food is excellent.

Here is some info about this combo store/eatery. In November 2002, the Eataly concept was born from Oscar Farinetti’s idea sketched on a piece of paper. The idea was simple: to gather under one roof high-quality food at sustainable and reasonable prices for ALL, celebrate Italian biodiversity, and create an informal, natural, and simple place to eat, shop, and learn. The first Eataly opened its doors in Torino on January 27, 2007. Since then, Eataly has expanded, with more than 35 locations throughout Italy and the world (as of 2022). Eataly Century City,10250 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90067; https://www.eataly.com/

Also at the Westfield Century City, Javier’s serves up some zesty Mexican food – I am told. One of our writers Jimmy Cruz, knows quite a bit about Mexican food, and recommend’s this restaurant, not only for its food but also its ambiance. Jimmy is a romantic at heart – CLICK HERE to read his article ‘LA’s Cinco de Mayo…My Kind of Romance’ or go to the Stories Section, Romantic Page; Holiday Sparks drop-down.

It’s staff comes to the restaurant from various regions of Mexico – they have brought their family’s favorite dishes. Jimmy’s top menu picks are Costilla de Res (osso bucco short ribs, potatoes, tomato and serrano sauce) and Carnitas (estilo michoacán, refritos, guacamole, salsa quemada) from the main menu with a special fave of Cabo Azul (Maine lobster enchilada, poblano chile stuffed with shrimp & dungeness crab, Ensenada style shrimp taco).

This is a chain restaurant with other locations in La Jolla, Irvine, Newport Beach, Las Vegas and Los Cabos; Javier’s Los Angeles, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., # 1005, LA, CA, 90067; https://www.javiers-cantina.com
