Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours in Kauai, Hawaii

Take a Helicopter Tour in Kauai…a once in a lifetime experience. Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours is a private helicopter tour company, one of the few helicopter tours to offer a doors-off option, which is best for photography. My husband and I had the chance to take a private tour, and I must say it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I highly recommend it.

Best Helicopter Tour in Kauai

Taking a helicopter is one of the best ways to see Kauai. There are all sorts of options. At ETG, we had a great experience with Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours. First decide why you wan to take the trip. So many of us these days want to take photos. However, you may want to just to sit back and relax. My husband is a professional photographer, so it was necessary for him to choose a helicopter tour company that featured a ‘doors off’ option. So Mauna Loa Helicopters was the perfect choice. About Mauna Loa Helicopters

Mauna Loa Helicopters has been offering private sightseeing tours over Kauai since 2006 and now also offers exclusive private helicopter tours from our island bases on Oahu and the Big Island. Along with its impeccable safety record, we take pride in making each tour a spectacular, personalized experience. Explore our photo-flights, proposals, special occasions, and more!

Pilot Blake Andrews took us on our 55 minute flight and gave us a full history of Kauai, as we marveled at the scenery below. He has been flying for seven years and got us shockingly close to the waterfalls, which seemed to be all around us. With three years on the Big Island, Blake has been flying four and a half years with Mauna Loa.

Book early (as soon as you land on the island). Safety is a priority, and the weather is continuously monitored. Flights can be cancelled at any time. If this happens, you will need to reschedule, as you will not receive priority on the next chopper out. So don’t book your flight for the final day of your trip.
